WHEN TO FILE A CLAIM: If you have had high winds or large hail in your neighborhood there is a good chance you might have sustained damage.
Call All Seasons Roofing Inc. and we will provide you with a Free Inspection to confirm or deny any damages to your home. If you have damage call your insurance agent and you will be assigned a claim number and an adjuster will contact you to set up a time to come and inspect your property. We will meet with your insurance adjuster to assure a fair claim settlement and clear understanding of their process.
The Inspection: The adjuster will inspect your home for visible signs of damage. He will measure out a test square on your roof of 100sf. ( 10'x10' ) area on each slope of your roof. If he can find a sufficient amount of bruises or breaks in his/her test square, the insurance company will pay for a new roof, less the cost of your deductible. Likewise if your gutters, window screens or siding are dented you will be paid for a replacement of like kind and quality.
The Insurance Estimate: Most discrepancies occur when the adjuster has not assessed the same amount or type of damage as the contractor. Whether it's the roof, gutters, siding or other exterior damage, the mistake could be due to the adjuster having a bad day or the fault of the contractor in estimating the cost of repairs. In either case the numbers don't match up. This is why we feel it is vital to have your contractor " All Seasons Roofing " represent you during the inspection process. This will save you time off from work and the general headache sometimes associated with the insurance claims process. The insurance company will never require you to work with a specific contractor as this choice is yours. We ask that you allow our company to represent you during the inspection process. We will work with the adjuster to determine the extent of the damage, clarify the pricing and offer you a repair price equal or less than your insurance company's price. All you pay is your deductible.
Payment: You should receive your first check about a week after the adjuster has inspected your property. This check will represent the actual cost of repairs less your deductible and any applicable depreciation. If you have a Replacement Cost Policy the depreciated amount will be paid to you when the work is completed and an invoice from your contractor is sent to your insurance company.
How are we different? : We are prompt and professional. Our Staff has years of construction, management and insurance experience. We manage our jobs and do thorough inspections during the repair process, not just sending a crew out to do the work only to show again when its time to collect a check. We provide you with a written labor warranty and lien waiver upon final payment. Most importantly, we care..... we perform... and we provide the results you are looking for.
TYPES OF DAMAGE
Hail Damage: Hail can damage your roof, siding or gutters without any visible signs from the ground. Hail impacts your roofing shingles causing them to suffer a loss of protective granules greatly reducing the life of your roof. The loss of granules on your roof will expose your shingles to UV rays causing serious deterioration within a short time. Siding, Gutters and Fascia can be dented by hail causing cosmetic damages often seen only in the right light. This is where our FREE INSPECTION is priceless, letting you know what damages if any you suffered from the storm.
Wind Damage: Winds in excess of 50 miles an hour will lift your shingle causing the seals to break and possible fracturing the shingle as if folds upwards. The newly damage shingle will then flap in the breeze and often tear off and fly away. To the homeowner it may look as though you lost a couple of tabs and everything is ok, when the truth of the matter is that you have extensive wind damage and your roof needs extensive repair or replacement.
